If both parties have reached agreement about parenting and/or financial/property arrangements, workplace dispute resolution, then Consent Orders can be drawn up. Once completed an application can be made to the Federal Circuit Court of Australia to formalise the agreement, thus make it legally binding. Consent Orders can also be used to vary or discharge existing Family Law Orders.
